We accept most major credit cards.
A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you once your order has been processed at checkout.

Shipping

If your items are in stock, your order will be shipped between Monday-Friday within 2-3 business days after placing your order. Orders placed from Friday-Sunday will ship the following week.

If an item is ‘made to order’ it may take up to 10 business days before it is shipped. If your order contains both made to order and non-made to order items, we’ll send your shipment once the made to order items are ready. Or, you can order them separately if you’d like your ‘in stock’ items sooner.

You will receive an e-mail with a tracking number once your shipment has been sent.

Each shipment has a tracking number and the item(s) purchased are insured by Yamato Transport only if they fail (by their fault) to deliver.

Average shipping times:
Domestic (within Japan) – Orders will be shipped free of charge within Japan using Yamato Transport. We estimate about 1 week for delivery within Japan from the moment you place your order.
International (outside Japan) – Due to Covid-19 international shipping from Japan is temporarily disabled. Please join our newsletter for updates on shipping options.

Please note we are not responsible for delays in shipping or delivery due to force of nature or other uncontrollable events.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING (within Japan)
Orders over ¥15,000 will be shipped free of charge within Japan using Yamato Transport. Under that amount the shipping rate will be determined by size and destination within Japan at point of purchase.

We estimate about 1 week for delivery within Japan from the moment you place your order.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (outside Japan)
Due to Covid-19 international shipping from Japan is temporarily disabled. Please join our newsletter for updates on shipping options.

Duties and import taxes are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country.

In this case we suggest customers contact their local customs bureau with inquiries or to see if your package is being held locally. We are unable to control or predict the time of delivery for packages held in customs.

If a package is denied entry by customs and returned to us we will refund the cost of the item, but shipping charges, customs fees and any cost associated with the return of the shipment are not refundable.

If your package is lost in transit we will do our best to assist you. Please note that once proof of delivery is generated we cannot be held responsible if your package was not received by you. Please make sure your shipping address is secure as we cannot be held responsible in the case that your shipment was lost or stolen.

Returns & Exchanges

Yes. Returns from our online shop are eligible for exchange or refund within 14 days of order delivery.

Please notify us by e-mail first if you wish to make a return or exchange.

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges.

Please add a note with your:
– name and e-mail
– the ‘order number’
– and your exchange request, or reason for the return.

If all conditions are met, the original form of payment will be credited; if not, all items will be shipped back to the customer with an explanation. Customer incurs all shipping costs for all returned items.

Refunds will be credited to your original form of payment, less any shipping charges. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is issued. Depending on the processing speed of your credit card company, it may take up to 10 business days or longer for the credit to post to your account statement.

We will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of return packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to the to our office.

Caring for Your Accessories

Our accessories are sold in as-is condition. Accessories, like all materials, are susceptible to damage and require preventative measures and maintenance. It is important to be aware of your items while wearing them and to choose pieces that are appropriate for your lifestyle. We recommend removing all jewelry, especially rings, in situations when abnormal contact is expected.

Order Changes

Please send us an e-mail right away! If your order has not already been shipped, tell us what you’d like to adjust and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.

About Claude and Our Products

On the West side of Honshu island in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It’s a beautiful place at the base of the Japanese Alps and is close to the sea.

Our products are all designed, crafted and manufactured in Japan. We are craft focused and interested in the process of hand work from all over the world.

Most of the materials we use are from Japan. Some raw materials come from other parts of Asia and a few small parts may come from around the world.

Please check the item pages for details about sizes and how to wear our accessories. Most of our accessories are free size.
